Facultetus

Faculteus is a digital career environment for universities focused on arranging employment, internships and hands-on training. It is used in 82 universities since March 2020. At the height of the pandemic the environment was successfully tested as means to run traditional vacancy fairs online, and was used by over 50,000 students and 4,000 employers.

Faculteus contains students’ digital profiles with CVs, a one window interface for employers, featuring selection and university interaction control tools. Faculteus has been integrated with Leader-ID platform, the «Rossiya — strana vozmozhnostey» platform (in the context of the «Vremya karyery» national action), github, habr, behance and other web-services. On the employers’ side it’s integrated with ATS, job sites profiles.

Functions for universities (used mainly by career centers’ staff):

• Student/employer interaction monitoring (including at third-party job sites);

• Employers and vacancies control and modernization in the university environment (blocking, highlighting, etc.);

• Automated functions for easy social network and media handling (VK and FB groups, Instagram, Telegram channels);

• Tracking the students’ functional portfolios (standard form, third-party resources, projects and teams, competitions and events);

• Students’ and employers’ queries and interests statistics with breakdowns by training fields, competence map and job atlas;

• Team-building for projects, start-ups and business ideas;

• Vacancy fair module (online and offline).

Functions for students:

• Developing a CV together with a digital advisor, to be used inside the university’s career environment, or on third-party resources;

• Developing a CV through industry digital platforms: github, habr, behance, etc.:

• Comprehensive job navigation (Together with University new job atlas 2035), with skills trajectories, hands-on training, internships, training programs, tests and employers;

• Employers’ invitations, vacancy and internship reviews;

• Employer interactions via tracks, chats, native tests;

• Adding or searching for projects, start-ups, teams, or business ideas. Project support measures navigation;

• Competitions and events digest (incl. РСВ, Leader-ID);

• Education program catalogue in conjunction with professional trajectory (WorldSkills, etc.)

Functions for employers

• Setting up a corporate representation profile;

• Adding vacancies, internships and hands-on training programs (with an option to upload data from hh, rabota.ru) with in-depth settings;

• An option to subscribe to the selected universities + university students’ competences map;

• Vacancy invitations and responses with smart option to adjust the CV sent by a student to the bot’s format at the time of the response;

• Connecting the ATSs used, a convenient response download system for 1С;

• Publishing automated, verifiable and mixed tests for pre-selection of candidates;

• A chat with applicants, a question-answer system;

• Publishing «tracks» i.e. multi-stage automated systems for continuous communication with students over time, with a digital interaction channel to foster loyalty to the profession and the organization, conduct preliminary training and subsequent employment (example: industrial site -> job track -> universities -> testing, training and tours for earlier years students, hands-on training and internships with selection for the middle years students, and employment options for pre-graduates);

Development status: developed successfully, in operation. Functional tests and adjustments: March-August 2020, full-scal operation launch: September 2020.

Platform features related to handling job sites

Facultetus does not compete against job sites and solutions, instead providing an expanded toolset, for using those sites, among other things: common integrated portfolio coverage, tracking university/student interactions on third party platforms, etc.

Advantage of a private company based platform IT solution

Private companies are more flexible and competitive when it comes to service IT products, and more dependent on the demand of their users: universities, employers, and applicant students, leading to continuous fast improvement. That function also incentivizes development of core business units (i.e. universities’ and colleges career centers) commercially viable functions.
