«Self-employment at Hand» — is a project by «My Job» public employment center, designed in order to solve the problem of returning the unemployed to proactive work, and assisting them in starting their own business or registering as self-employed individuals.

The new flagship «Shabolovka» center set up «Self-employment at Hand», a full ecosystem for those who consider alternate employment: novice entrepreneurs and self-employed people, from professional testing and training business courses to develop competences a person can lean on once one working on their own, to psychological support and expert assistance in setting up one’s own business.

Key events:

1. «Know what kind of entrepreneur you are» designer testing to learn about one’s entrepreneurial profile

2. group and personal consultations regarding areas and types of economic activity aligning with the labor market demands, ownership form and taxation system for the future operations

3. incorporation (sole proprietor or a limited company) without paying the state at the Employment center site, and free access to the Sberbank online accounting system

4. an option to register as a self-employed person on the «My Job» site

5. setting up and assistance in developing a business plan

6. one-time financial support of RUB 10,200 or less for individuals registering as entrepreneurs (sole proprietor, limited company, farming enterprise)

7. informing people finding contracts on aggregator platforms: general online training sessions dedicated to using such services, e-mail newsletters, expert advise for individuals registering at the «My Job» center site

8. open competitions among major employers with subsequent self-employment registration and an option to win contracts right after the competition
